LOST & FOUND AT RANGE:

Found July 18th, appears to be a 22 loader of some kind.  Call 868-6635 to describe and it will be returned to you.  Found 1 black or dark blue visor type cap early July.   Found dark blue wool stormy cromer hat left at orientation in January or February.  Call 868-6635 to have returned to you.    

If you have found anything at range and need help returning to owner call John Sprague at 868-6635 to list on this site.  We as caring sportsmen and women always want to return lost or left behind items to their rightful owner as this is what we would like to happen if we ever leave something somewhere.

11 July  2010  300 YARD RANGE IS OPEN

The 300 yard range opened at 3:00 PM on July 11th.  The backers are temporary as the post pounder broke and will need to be repaired to install permanent backers.  There is still no driving forward of the firing line.  Expect closures during Sat & Sun July 17th and 18th to install gravel paths and permanent backers.  Sign in sheet is with flag in the mail box on flag pole.

GET YOUR 2011 MEMBERSHIP FREE

:  We are in  need of range officers to manage the range on open public days.  The days start in April and run through September.  The hours are 10:00 am to 4:00 PM Second Saturday and Last Sunday of each month.  If you work a total of 12 hours to open the ranges, this works out to be 2 days. Then MRSA will pay for your 2011 gfssc membership.  But you must sign up ahead of time for a certain day and then be there to run the range.  If you fail to contribute the full 12 hours then your membership will not be paid for.  Contact John Sprague at grizzsprague@yahoo.com to volunteer.  You must select a date when you volunteer.  A class will be held to train all volunteers prior to first open day.

1/31/10  GATE COMBO CHANGE The new gate combination has been installed on access locks.  If you have not renewed your membership or attended the orientation class you will be unable to enter the complex property.  Check the calendar on this page for orientation class schedule.
