Gallery Pistol Matches
The Ed McGivern Pistol & Revolver Club will sponsor the following NRA approved Gallery Pistol Matches. The matches will consist of a 900 aggregate conventional match and a 600 aggregate International Standard Pistol Course.
DATES: Jan. 2 & 3, 2010; Feb. 6 & 7, 2010
PLACE: The Ed McGivern Club range located at airport Exit of I-15, SW of Great Falls.
TIME: Firing may be completed Saturday starting at 6:00 PM, or Sunday starting at 1:00 PM.
REGISTRATION & ENTRY FEES: Registration is $5.00. Entry fees Matches1-5 & 7 are $1.50 each. Match 6 is $3.00 per two man team. Match 8 is $3.00.
SQUADDING: All matches will be completed by relay before leaving the firing line.
ELIGIBILITY: Competitors must be members of the NRA or SFC (Canadian) to enter.
RULES: NRA Pistol Rules conventional or international will govern.
SCORING: Scoring will be done by Statistical Office Personnel. Use of plug type scoring gauge by Match Officials or Statistical Office Personnel only.
CLASSIFICATION: NRA or SFC (Canadian) classification will be used. Unclassified competitors will fire in the master class. Team classification will be no higher than expert. Pick-up teams are allowed. Teams representing State Associations, Leagues, and/ or other associations are allowed.
MATCHES: All firing will be at 50 feet, with .22 caliber pistol or revolver.
Match 1- 20 shots slow fire Match 2- 30 shots gallery course
Match 3- 30 shots time fire Match 4- 20 shots rapid fire
Match 5- Aggregate of matches 1-4 Match 6- Team Match (scores fired in Match 2)
Match 7- Camp Perry Fund Match (Aggregate of matches 1 & 4.
Match 8- 60 shots International Standard Pistol Course.
AWARD SCHEDULE: Winners will receive NRA Award Points. Awards to match winner and 1st place in each class. If more than 5 competitors in a class--2nd place. If more than 12 competitors in a class--3rd place, etc. High Lady award in Match 5, if 4 or more ladies entered. Classes will not be combined. Awards to winning team members. If more than 4 teams--2nd place, etc. Competitors may receive only one award per match, except high lady in Match 5. Proceeds of Match 7 go to MR & PA Camp Perry Fund.
REFRESHMENTS: Coffee, Soft Drinks, and light snacks will be available at range.
ENTRIES AND INFORMATION: Advance entries requested. Entries close for each relay at relay starting times.
