After updating the website software, there were some odd bugs cropping up. The turned out to be related to some missing javascript code. Thanks to our web host's rudimentary permissions and lack of support, not all the updates were copied correctly. I think I have it fixed now. \
Software updates are completed, so still On the todo list:
- change the file /var/www/phpws/mod/calendar/class/user to make calendar submission friendlier.
--I did this once, but then I wiped it out when I was troubleshooting the javascript problems so I'll have to do it again. This isn't completely possible, but I did make the pop-up message a lot more informative. told it to contact the directors to get the message approved, and even gives the directors email address. - /var/www/phpws/mod/calendar/class/schedule is where the 'submit event' wording can be changed.
maybe make it something like " Put your your own event on the schedule" - /var/www/phpws/mod/calendar/class/user is also where "<<'"could be changed to "<< Previous"
- make the banner image an image map so that clicking on the words does something.
--The /config/core/text_settings.php - Renew your membership on-line? Should be possible. There is a store module available for phpwebsite, and GUNPAL will let people use their cred cards or direct bank debit
- Add a map of the complex to the site. I don't have a current map, but I can probably modify the CTA architects original one to show some of the layout.
- Done:! It appears to be working ok now.
The message board is eating people's comments. I've disabled it until I can figure it out.
