Prior to using the ranges managed by the Missouri River Shooters Association (300, 200, and 50 yard ranges) you must sign in yourself, spouse (if accompanying) or guest (if you have one with you). The sign in books at the 50 yd and 200 yd ranges are located under the covers. Children under age 18 are not considered guests and are not required to be signed in.
The sign in logs are mandatory and you must fill them out legibly. If you don't want your name exposed to others, you can sign up with your member number--if you choose this route be sure to have your membership card with you in case you asked to verify your ID. The guests names are then added to a computer log to track guests. Remember, guests are allowed a one-time free visit, then they must get their own membership if they wish to continue using the complex ranges.
The sign in sheets are kept to verify range usage time. Some grants we apply for ask for range usage time. Also, we are sometimes asked by individuals as to how often our ranges are really being utilized.
