GFSSC Standing Rules (July 2009)

Membership fees to the GFSSC, shall be set by the GFSSC BOD. As of June 2009, current fees as follows:
Life Membership: $1000
Charter Membership: $500
Annual Membership: $50
Family Membership: $60 -
The annual membership term runs from January 1st, through December 31st, of each year. Applications received after September 1st of the current year will be honored through the following year, for new members only.

Memberships are available to adults only. Adult supervision is required for range use if under the age of 18.

Membership to the GFSSC is required for use of all ranges. There is an exception for guests of members and those who attend scheduled shooting events. Guests are permitted a one-time visit.

For Non-Members to use a public range on public range days, a Range Officer must be on site. The fee for non-member use is $5, per day.

The GFSSC Treasurer shall be authorized $250 annually, for those expenses incurred in conducting the business of the GFSSC. These funds shall be used for photocopies, mailing, printing, labels and those expenses directly related to same.

The GFSSC BOD shall produce and distribute a newsletter, in order to keep its membership informed.

The GFSSC BOD shall maintain a calendar of events in order to eliminate scheduling conflicts. Scheduling shall pass through the GFSSC BOD for approval.

No Officer, Director, Committee Person, or Member of the GFSSC shall sell, give, lend or otherwise transmit membership information, to any group or individual, without the express written permission of the GFSSC BOD.

Membership may be terminated for any of the following:
◦ Driving off established roadways. Driving on range floors (past the firing line).
◦ Driving around gates.
◦ Failure to lock gates.
◦ Destruction of property on GFSSC—Shooting of range equipment and structures will be considered destruction of range property.
◦ Shooting other than on established ranges
◦ Littering
◦ Providing gate combination or window hanger to non-members.
